CISM Description

The CISM preparation course offers the necessary tools to create, manage, design, oversee, and assess an organization's information security programs, ensuring effective management and ongoing advice.

OBJECTIVES

• Establish and/or maintain a governance framework for Information Security and support processes to ensure that the strategy is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Manage information risk to an acceptable level based on the risk appetite to meet the organization's goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain an Information Security program that identifies, manages, and protects the organization's assets while aligning with business objectives, thus supporting an effective security stance.
• Plan, establish, and manage the capability to detect, investigate, respond to, and recover from Information Security incidents to minimize business impact.
